TREE IN A QUART SIZE JAR - SOLD

 

This is a quart sized Ball mason jar with a bottle brush tree and 'glitter snow'.

The top of the lid is also snow glittered.  A green and red homespun bow is wrapped aroung the jar and a prim tag that reads 'Let it Snow' is attached to the bow with a rusty pin.

The lid is silver.  On my computer it looks more gold.

TREE IN A PINT SIZE JAR

 

A bottle brush tree in a pint Ball jar with glitter 'snow'!  How cute is that?!  I've tied a Christmas homespun bow around the jar and added some glitter snow to the top of the lid. 

 Looks great on a fireplace mantle, shelf, or table along with your other decorations.

Would make a great gift for your child's teacher.

Note:  jar lid is silver colored.  The bits of glitter on the cap of the lid won't be there when you receive this, the glitter wasn't dry yet when I took photos.

TWIGS THE PRIMITIVE SNOWMAN - SOLD

 

 

 Meet Twigs.  He's an adorable little prim snowman from a design by Blue Moon Beginnings. 

He's been made from muslin, stuffed with polyester filling.  He's been painted, stained and sanded down to give him a nice worn look.  His mouth has been sculpted and he has a twig nose.  Twig's eyes are big buttons sewn onto stained osnaburg fabric. There are two rusty bells attached to his body with rusty safety pins.  He is holding onto a prim tree made of  a stick and faux greenery.

17 1/2" HIRAM PRIMITIVE SNOWMAN - SOLD

Hiram is a 17 1/2" tall primitive snowman made from a pattern by Crooked River Mercantile.

Hiram's body is made from stained muslin.  I've sewn on  10 buttons with black thread down the front.

His eyes are French knots.

His nose is a small twig.

Hiram's mouth is hand stitched.

His stocking cap is 100% wool with 3 small rusty bells on the front brim and one large rusty bell sewn on the end of the cap.  

The scarf is red, green and tan homespun fabric with fringe on the ends.

Hiram's arms are twigs inserted into his body.  A gold wool star with blanket stitching hangs from one arm on coiled rusty wire.  

Hanging from Hiram's shoulder is a wool satchel filled with snowy evergreens and red and gold pip berries.  The satchel is dark brown and black.  The front of the satchel has 3 large buttons sewn on and the bag itself has been blanket stitched in gold colored floss.

20 INCH TALL CRYSTALINA SNOW LADY DOLL - SOLD

So far, this has been my favorite doll to make.  Crystalina Snow Lady is a design by Homebodies.  She measures 20" tall.

Crystalina is made from stained muslin, stuffed with polyester filling.  Her eyes and mouth are hand stitched and her nose is dark orange wool felt, also hand stitched.

Her coat is gray & white marbled 100% wool.  The edges have all been blanket stitched in black floss.  There are 10 buttons sewed down the front in red, white and black. Her arms are inside the coat arms, and those are sewn at the shoulders with big black buttons.

The pocket is made from black wool, blanket stitched at the opening in red floss and has a hand stitched red wool star sewn in the center.  I've inserted faux Christmas greenery and berries into her pocket.

She is wearing a burgundy & cream plaid homespun scarf.

Crystalina's mittens are made from the same red wool as the star, the edges are blanket stitched and the mitten cuffs are black wool felt with red floss stitching.

Her ear muffs are also made from black wool felt. 

Crystalina's boots are painted red and have some 'snow fluries' sprinkled on them.  

This doll comes signed and dated.
