PRIMITIVE SPRING ROBIN MAKE-DO - SOLD

The Robin is a design by Sassafras Hill Primitives.

Robin is made of stuffed muslin which has been painted and sanded for a nice worn look. The eyes are beads, sewn on. All around the wings and gusset are hand stitched X's in black perle cotton thread. I've wrapped a rusty twisted wire around the neck and added a rusty bell and prim round tag that says SPRING. I'm including 2 more prim tags that you can change to as wanted - SUMMER and ROBIN.

The Make-do is a hand made candle holder painted blue and black. I've hot glued green Spanish moss to the bottom along with a pip berry wreath in blues and 3 'robins eggs'. Bird is hot glued to the top of candle holder.

A great Spring/Summer accent piece.

Entire piece measures 12 1/2" high.
Robin measures approx. 11" wide by 6" high.

FOLKART FABRIC ROOSTER KITCHEN ACCENT -SOLD

The rooster is made of gold fabric with black dots and stars, stuffed with polyester filling. Its eye is a tiny rusty bell and the comb, wattle and beak are all painted. Raffia is tied around its neck and I've hand sewn 2 homespun 'patches' and a white button onto the front.

A rusty wire is attached to the back of the rooster's head for hanging. If you prefer, he can be tucked onto a shelf or cupboard.

Rooster measures 11" high by 5" wide.

PRIMITIVE RABBIT WITH STICK ARMS & LEGS - SOLD

 This sweet rabbit is a design by Kentucky Primitives.

The head is stuffed muslin, which has been painted, stained and sanded to give it a nice worn look. Rabbit's eyes are black beads, sewn on and whiskers are upholstery thread.

The body is a brown and orange and turquoise floral calico fabric stuffed with polyfill and rubbed down generously with cinnamon. The rabbit's 'outfit' has a stained lace collar with a bow made of jute string. 2 rusty bells are sewn to the front. A felt pocket is hand sewn to the body/outfit and has Sweet Annie and a itty bitty prim carrot inside. A 'RABBIT' prim tag is attached to the pocket with a rusty safety pin.
The arms and legs are sticks with Spanish moss attached.

This item measures approximately `12" wide by 131/2" high

Makes a wonderfully prim decoration to set out with Easter decor or for that bunny collector, leave out all year round!

This sweet rabbit is a design by Kentucky Primitives.

The head is stuffed stained muslin. Rabbit's eyes are black beads, sewn on and whiskers are upholstery thread.

The body is made from blue patch quilted fabric stuffed with polyfill and rubbed down generously with cinnamon. The rabbit's 'outfit' has a stained coordinated collar .  2 rusty bells are sewn to the front. A spray of Sweet Annie is attached to rabbit with a rusty safety pin along with a round prim tag that reads RABBIT.
The arms and legs are sticks with Spanish moss attached.

This item measures approximately 12 1/2" wide by 14" high
