PRIMITIVE SCARECROW HEAD DOOR GREETER - SOLD

 

 I adapted this cute scarecrow door greeter from a wooden pattern design by Palette Primitives.

I made the head with muslin which I've coffee stained and filled with polyfil.

The nose is made from a scrap piece of wool and the white eyes are soft 'n natural.

The hat is made from wool felt and I've attached a prim sunflower.  Hair is raffia.

Door greeter measures approx. 11 1/2 in. high by 13 1/2 in. wide ( hat brim end to end).

I've attached a rusty wire on the back for hanging.

13" PRIMITIVE FABRIC WOOL FELT DAISY IN A CAN #1/ DAISY SEEDS LABEL- SOLD

Measures 13 inches high.

Daisy is made from white wool felt and has been grungied to give it a nice prim look.

It is attached to a stick/branch that is curved, so it does not stand straight up, it leans forward.

I've grungied up a tin can to look rusty and added a DAISY SEEDS label and a green and white small checked homespun bow.

PRIMITIVE SUNFLOWER #1 IN RUSTY TIN CAN / OLD BLACK CROW SEEDS - SOLD

 This was a fun pattern to make. 

 The design is from Maureen Mills of Sweetmeadows Farm.

The sunflower is made from wool felt.  I've primmed up the tin can to look rusty and added a cute Old Black Crow Sunflower Seeds label along with a stained cheesecloth tie.

Measures 15 inches high.

RED WHITE & BLUE AMERICANA PATRIOTIC PENNY RUG CANDLE MAT - SOLD

Candle mat is made from  white wool felt.  The pennies are also wool felt in dark red, antique white and royal blue.  In the center of each small penny I've attached alternating gold and silver star sequins with a French knot in antique white perle cotton thread.  Mat measures 13" round.
