PRIMITIVE COUNTRY FARMHOUSE LIGHTING CROW - RAVEN LAMP - SOLD

 This is a great primitive accent piece to add to your prim / country farmhouse decor.

This is adapted from a design by Rusty Shed Primitives.

The base (sack) is made from black and mustard homespun fabric which has been weighted and stuffed with polyfil.

An electric candle (which I've painted black) has been inserted and includes a 5W silicone bulb. The cord is 6 ft. long and has an off/on switch.

I've sewn a stained osnaburg fabric label with crows onto the front of the sack with black perle cotton thread.

A small black crow sits in a nest of Spanish moss atop the sack. Gold and Burgundy pip berry stems are inserted into the sack behind the candle. A rusty bell is attached to the sack with a rusty safety pin.

Would look great in an entryway, kitchen, living room, dining room, office, bedroom. Would also make a great hostess gift, housewarming gift or birthday / Christmas gift.

Lamp measures 11 Inches high by approx. 6 inches wide OR 17 inches all around.

14 3/4" TALL VINTAGE TEXTILE SPOOL ELECTRIC CANDLE HOLDER - SOLD

 

I made this 'candle' holder using a 6 1/2" tall  vintage textile spool as the base with the electric candle wired down through the spool and out the side. The wire is approx. 68 inches long with an off / on switch located halfway up the wire.  

The candle is 7 1/2" tall from the base of the candle to the tip of the silicone bulb.  

Total height is 14 3/4" high - from base of spool to tip of bulb.

The red pip berry candle ring is glued onto the top surface of the spool.  The mini candle ring with red, dk blue and yellow pip berries is not glued down.

I've tied a green and red plaid homespun bow onto the spool center.
