CROSS STITCHED PRIM PATRIOTIC PEAR PILLOW TUCK

I've cross stitched 'Four score and seven years ago `1864' from Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address onto a coffee stained muslin fabric pear.  The words are dark gray DMC embroidery floss and the stars are gold floss, 1864 is in blue, red and ecru.

The back of the pear is red with white stars.
The stem is a real stick and I wrapped jute around it and attached a faux green leaf.
Pear measures 10 inches tall ( from stem) and 6 inches wide.

ABC'S CROSS STITCHED SAMPLER PEAR ORNIE -SOLD

I hand stitched the ABC's onto osnaburg fabric using rustic colors of DMC embroidery thread and sewed that into a pear shape.  The pear is stuffed firmly with polyester filling and a 'real' stick is attached as the stem.  I tied a strip of homespun fabric around the stem for the 'leaf'.  The back is plain osnaburg.
Pear measures approximately 9 inches from the top of stem and 5 inches across at the widest part of pear.
Pear is NOT coffee stained, but if you would like it finished that way, just let me know when you place your order.

It reads: We hold these truths to be self- evident from the Declaration of Independence 1776
A green bow is tied around the stem.
