PRIMITIVE PLAID PUMPKIN SHELF SITTER WITH WOOL EYES & NOSE - SOLD

This item was crafted from a pattern by Megan's Primitive Cupboard.

It measures 14 inches long by 5 inches high.

Pumpkin is made from mustard, green and tan plaid fabric that has been stuffed with polyester filling, stained with a coffee mixture. I then sanded and rubbed it down with my favorite blend of spices.

The pumpkin's face is hand stitched with scraps of wool for the eye area and nose and he has mismatched button eyes which are also hand sewn on. 

His mouth is a length of wood branch that is hand sewn on.

I've attached coiled rusty wire near the stem.

PRIMITIVE PUMPKIN FACE SHELF SITTER - SOLD

 This sweet pumpkin measures 14 inches long and 5 inches high from bottom of pumpkin to top of stem.
He is made from muslin, stuffed with polyester filling and then color washed with acrylic paints and stained in a coffee & vanilla mix.  Right before shipping I will rub him down with cinnamon and cloves so he will smell 'fresh' when he arrives at his new home.
I've used a stick for his mouth, which is stitched in place.  His nose is a rectangle of homespun, also hand stitched.  Eyes are mismatched buttons sewn onto squares of homespun.  I've attached 4 nice sized curly rusty wire tendrils at the base of the stem.
