ABC'S CROSS STITCHED SAMPLER PEAR ORNIE -SOLD

 

I hand stitched the ABC's onto osnaburg fabric using rustic colors of DMC embroidery thread and sewed that into a pear shape.  The pear is stuffed firmly with polyester filling and a 'real' stick is attached as the stem.  I tied a strip of homespun fabric around the stem for the 'leaf'.  The back is plain osnaburg.

Pear measures approximately 9 inches from the top of stem and 5 inches across at the widest part of pear.

Pear is NOT coffee stained, but if you would like it finished that way, just let me know when you place your order.

I printed a prim digital label onto the front of unstained osnaburg.  The fabric looks lighter in the photo than it actually is, which is more of an 'oatmeal' color.

The backing is tan and black homespun and the same label is also printed onto this giving you a two sided pillow.

I just LOVE this snowman doll.  He's made from a design by  Crows Roost Primitives.

Snowman measures  approx. 13" from top of hat.  He is made from osnaburg fabric that I've stained and 'dirtied' up to give him an old used look. Rusty bells are hand stitched and 'snow' tag is attached with rusty safety pin.
 Snowman's top hat is made from wool felt and adorned with some greenery & pip berries.
