SANDY HOOK MEMORIAL STITCHED PILLOW

This memorial pillow is adapted from a design by Marly of Samplers & Santas.

It measures approximately 12 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches high.

Stitching is done on stained muslin in DMC floss. 

There are 6 cross stitched 'crosses' on one side with pearl like beads sewn in the centers.

Border and backing is a gold and black sunburst fabric.

The horse & cactus image has been printed on unstained osnaburg fabric. 

There is a rope border around the image.

I've used a brown and black fabric backing and the pillow is stuffed with polyester filling.

A rusty safety pin and rusty bell is attached in a corner.

SHABBY COTTAGE CHIC DECORATIVE FRENCH THROW PILLOW

 This is something new for me, I find that I am loving shabby chic as well as folk art and primitive items.

Pillow dimensions are approximately 8 inches long by 13 inches wide.

The fabric is French shabby chic with roses, French script postcards and the Eiffel Tower on front and back.

Pillow is stuffed with polyester filling.

I've hand sewn a vintage off white crochet doily to the front.

The fabric flower bottom is made of osnaburg and the top flower is made from off white eyelet lace trim.  I've adorned the flower with white beads and a white beaded snowflake in the center.  Flower is hot glued to center of doily.

Would make a wonderful Mother's Day gift.

Another adorable Whimsical Hare made from a design by Patti's Rattis.

It measures approx. 19 inches long from tip of ears to bottom of cottontail.

I just LOVE the long wispy white whiskers!

Bunny's cute checked bow matches the lower portion of her egg shaped body.
