SHABBY COTTAGE CHIC DECORATIVE FRENCH THROW PILLOW

 This is something new for me, I find that I am loving shabby chic as well as folk art and primitive items.

Pillow dimensions are approximately 8 inches long by 13 inches wide.

The fabric is French shabby chic with roses, French script postcards and the Eiffel Tower on front and back.

Pillow is stuffed with polyester filling.

I've hand sewn a vintage off white crochet doily to the front.

The fabric flower bottom is made of osnaburg and the top flower is made from off white eyelet lace trim.  I've adorned the flower with white beads and a white beaded snowflake in the center.  Flower is hot glued to center of doily.

Would make a wonderful Mother's Day gift.

 Owl is made of 100% wool fabrics and stuffed with polyester filling. It is completely blanket stitched by hand. 

Beak is wood stem and has been hand stitched.

PRIMITIVE SUNFLOWER #1 IN RUSTY TIN CAN / OLD BLACK CROW SEEDS - SOLD

 This was a fun pattern to make. 

 The design is from Maureen Mills of Sweetmeadows Farm.

The sunflower is made from wool felt.  I've primmed up the tin can to look rusty and added a cute Old Black Crow Sunflower Seeds label along with a stained cheesecloth tie.

Measures 15 inches high.
