HOMER SNOWFELLA #2 HANGING DOOR GREETER - SOLD

 

 I made this snowman head to hang on a front door or he can be hung on a wall or cupboard.  There is a wire hanger on the back.

This door greeter measures13" long and 13" wide ( from earmuff to earmuff)

Snowman has been made from muslin, stuffed with polyester filling and painted with a mixture of acrylic paint and coffee stain, then sanded.  His nose, in the shape of a carrot, is made from burnt orange colored wool and hand stitched.  Eyes are large black buttons.  Mouth and eyebrows are hand drawn.  His rosy cheeks are scattered with mica flake 'snow'.

He's wearing green wool earmuffs with curly rusty wire and a red, green & gold metallic plaid scarf.  Inside the scarf I've tucked some faux pine and berries, also scattered with mica flake 'snow'.

17 1/2" HIRAM PRIMITIVE SNOWMAN - SOLD

Hiram is a 17 1/2" tall primitive snowman made from a pattern by Crooked River Mercantile.

Hiram's body is made from stained muslin.  I've sewn on  10 buttons with black thread down the front.

His eyes are French knots.

His nose is a small twig.

Hiram's mouth is hand stitched.

His stocking cap is 100% wool with 3 small rusty bells on the front brim and one large rusty bell sewn on the end of the cap.  

The scarf is red, green and tan homespun fabric with fringe on the ends.

Hiram's arms are twigs inserted into his body.  A gold wool star with blanket stitching hangs from one arm on coiled rusty wire.  

Hanging from Hiram's shoulder is a wool satchel filled with snowy evergreens and red and gold pip berries.  The satchel is dark brown and black.  The front of the satchel has 3 large buttons sewn on and the bag itself has been blanket stitched in gold colored floss.

LET IT SNOW - SNOWMAN -SOLD

This 'lil guy is wishing for snow.

He LOVES the 'white stuff' and is looking for a new home, preferably where it's nice and cold in the winter.

He's made of muslin, stuffed with polyester filling and stained to give him that 'olde' and worn look.  I've liberally rubbed him down with cinnamon and clove spices.

His eyes are beads ( sewn on) and his nose is a nice large burgundy felt sprinkled with mica flakes.

He has a big heart that is hand stitched onto his plump belly, also sprinkled with mica flakes.
Some Sweet Annie and burgundy and gold pip berries are held by his homespun tied scarf.
His prim tag reads " LET IT SNOW"

Snowman measures 9 1/2 inches high
