 This beautiful homespun rag wreath is the perfect compliment to your primitive/rustic or country/cottage decor.

Approximately 4yds of fabric have been used to complete wreath, in mustard, cream, brown and black.
The strips of homespun have been torn and hand tied to a 17 inch, 4 wire wreath frame. The coordinating bow is wired on.
The finished wreath measures approximately 22 inches.

The rooster is made of a 'peachy' colored fabric with white polka dots, stuffed with polyester filling. Its eyes are black beads, which are hand sewn. The comb, wattle and beak are all painted. Raffia is tied around its neck and I've hand sewn 2 homespun 'patches' and a brown button onto the front, along with a red & white checked heart.

A rusty wire is attached to the back of the rooster's head for hanging. If you prefer, he can be tucked onto a shelf or cupboard.

Rooster measures 5" wide (its widest is near the center of the heart area)  by 12" high.

PRIMITIVE AMERICAN WOOL SHEEP DOOR GREETER - SOLD

 This is a LARGE Sheep door greeter measuring approximately 13 1/2" wide by 11" high, adapted from a design by KENTUCKY PRIMITIVES.

The sheep is made from stained muslin, stuffed with polyester filling.
Its ears are black felt and it has beaded eyes, which are sewn on. Legs are thick sticks which I've wrapped stained jute rope around. I've rubbed cinnamon all over him for a rustic/prim look.

The sheep has a blanket of burgundy & tan striped homespun with a stained muslin tag that reads AMERICAN WOOL Est. 1776. This is hand sewn onto the blanket. Large rusty bells are sewn on to the points of the blanket.

I've also wrapped jute around its neck and attached another rusty bell to that. A large spray of Sweet Annie is attached behind neck and lies across its back. I've sewn jute rope to the back for hanging on a door/wall/cupboard.

PRIMITIVE BEE DOOR GREETER / WALL HANGER - SOLD

 This is an ADORABLE primitive bee, design by Blue MooN BegiNNiNgs.

He is made of painted & stained muslin and has been sanded to give him a worn look. His nose & brows are sculptured. He has black buttons for eyes, sewn onto stained osnaburg circles which are hand sewn.

The antennae are made of twisted rusty wire & rusty bells, as are the arms and stinger. He also wears a rusty collar with 2 rusty bells. He has burlap wings and is holding a large spray of preserved Sweet Annie, tied in a bundle with cheesecloth. I've attached a prim tag that reads Bzzz with a rusty safety pin & rusty bell.

Measures 15" from top of antennae bells to stinger bell.

There is a jute hanger on the back for hanging on a door or wall.

WHIMSICAL 'YOUR WELCOME HARE' DOOR GREETER IN BLUE & WHITE- SOLD

 This is an adorable bunny door greeter, design by Patti's Ratties. 

She measures 17 inches long.

Her body is made from 3 different blue and white patterned fabrics and is stuffed with polyester filling.  Her ears and cute face are made of off white felt.  Eyes are black beads, sewn on, nose is stitched with dark red embroidery floss and whiskers are white upholstery thread.  Bunny has a fluff of  multi colored blue and white 'hair'. 

 Tail is made of chennile yarn.  I've attached a bow with a blue heart shaped button in the center of it to an ear.

A  stuffed blue heart applique is sewn to the body with an off white button sewn in the center.  I've tied a stained tag around the button.

The tag is sprinkled with multi colored glitter for sparkle.

Hang on your front door, a favorite cupboard, or on the wall.  There is a loop on the back for hanging.

PRIMITIVE SPRING BUNNIES IN CARROT DOOR GREETER - SOLD

 

 This is an adorable LARGE hanging door greeter carrot with 2 prim bunnies inside.

Pattern design by Blue MoonN BegiNNings

It measures 22 inches long from top of hanging wire to carrot bottom.

The carrot has been painted, baked, sanded, treated with a coffee/vanilla mixture and baked once more.  Rusty wire is wrapped around the carrot and rusty bells are pinned to the carrot with rusty safety pins.  Spanish moss has been glued under the bells.

The carrot is stuffed with polyester filling.  The bunnies have sculpted noses/mouths and have also been painted, baked, sanded and stained.   Spanish moss has been inserted at the top of carrot and around bunnies and I've inserted some Sweet Annie.

A prim stained tag reads sPrInG and is attached with a rusty safety pin.

FOLK ART PENNY RUG TREE SNOWMAN DOOR GREETER- SOLD

Snowman measures 19 inches tall.

He is made of osnaburg, stuffed with polyester filling.

His nose is a cinnamon stick, which I've hand stitched to his face.  Eyes are white & brown wool felt pennies with a black bead sewn in the center.

There are 5 red and green wool felt penny 'flowers' sewn onto his body with gold and off white perle cotton threads.  I've sewn small rusty bells into the center of each smaller penny.

The 'stem' is dark green perle cotton thread, although on my screen it almost looks blue.

I've sewn 2 sticks for his arms.  While he doesn't have legs, if you request them, I'll be happy to add some stick legs at no extra charge.

His top hat is made of black felt and is sewn to his head, not glued.  The 5 pennies on the hat band match the pennies on the body, but the colors are reversed.  They also have small rusty bells sewn in the centers.

I've attached a doubled perle cotton loop on the back for hanging.

He's wearing green wool earmuffs with curly rusty wire and a red, green & gold metallic plaid scarf.  Inside the scarf I've tucked some faux pine and berries, also scattered with mica flake 'snow'.

25" PRIMITIVE PATRIOTIC BUNNY WITH FLAG HANGING DOOR GREETER - SOLD

 This is a Patriotic Bunny made from a pattern by Tennessee Ridge Primitives.

The bunny measures 25 inches from head to toe, not including his ears, which have wire in them so they are bendable.

His body is made from stained & treated muslin and stuffed with polyfil.

His clothing is osnaburg cloth.  3 rusty pins with rusty bells attached hold his shirt together.  

The flag is also made of osnaburg which I've hand painted.  It is attached to a long wooden branch with rusty wire.  The branch is attached to bunny's hand with wire and I've sewn the hands together so he doesn't drop his flag!  Hands ( paws) are sculpted.

There is a wire attached to the back of bunny's head for hanging.

I've 'painted' his eyes on with prisma pencil.  His nose is sculpted, mouth is hand stitched and whiskers are rusty wires.

Bunny doll is signed and dated.
