SPRING BUNNY IN FAUX RUSTY TIN CAN BASKET- SOLD

Miss Bunny in her faux rusty tin can basket was adapted from a pattern design by Happy Heart Patterns.

Bunny is made of muslin fabric that is stuffed with polyfill and stained. Her dress is a 'pear green' color with white daisies. A shawl of white cheesecloth drapes her shoulders. A small white rose adorns her right ear.

The tin can has been painted to give a nice rusty look. A vintage bunny label is attached to the front. The can has a doubled wire handle, with a stained cheesecloth bow at the top and two rusty bells hanging from one side of the handle by jute string.

Inside the can with Miss Bunny is some Spanish moss and Sweet Annie.

This was a fun bunny decoration to make! You can set it out as an Easter decoration, or if you are a bunny collector, leave it out all year round.

These sweet little prairie dolls measure approximately 8" tall by 4" wide. They are adapted from a design by Peach Bottom Primitives aka Prims By Denise.

They are made from stuffed muslin which has been stained and dressed in 3 different patterned dresses. One is white and blue flowers, one is small blue and brown flowers and the 3rd is a brown and black pattern. They each wear bonnets made from osnaburg fabric tied with jute string. Their aprons are stained cheesecloth, tied with jute string. They are all dusted with cinnamon.

These dolls are small enough to use as bowl fillers or tuck on a shelf / cupboard.

PRIMITIVE BLACK PIG CUPBOARD TUCK DECORATION - SOLD

This sweet primitive style pig would make a great accent to any decor. 

He measures 8 inches wide by 5 inches wide.

He was adapted from a pattern design by Peach Bottom Primitives.

He is made from stuffed muslin, which has been painted and sanded to give him a nice prim look.
A rusty bell is tied around his neck with jute rope and I've sewn a country fabric label on him that reads:

LARGE PRIMITIVE CALICO PEAR PINKEEP / PINCUSHION

This is a LARGE handmade primitive style pear pinkeep/pincushion measuring approximately 14 inches tall and 6 inches wide at the bottom. It is adapted from a pattern design by Sassafras HIll Primitives.

The pear is made from a brown/tan floral calico fabric and stuffed with polyester filling. It's been stained so it has an olde thyme look. There are X stitches in brown embroidery floss along the seams. A stick has been inserted for the stem and the leaf is made from green calico fabric.
I've attached a rusty star, skeleton key, 2 vintage buttons and a prim sheep tag.

3 PRIMITIVE GRINNING ANNIE FLOWERS IN PRIM CAN GARDEN

 

These adorable grinning Annie like prim flowers are a design by Kim's Whims.

 

They are made from stained and stuffed muslin. Each flower has a different patterned backing 

The largest flower has buttons for eyes and a felt nose.

The smaller oval faced flower has beads for eyes and her nose is embroidery floss.

The smallest flower with grinning teeth has small button eyes and her nose is colored in with prisma colored pencil.
All eyebrows, lashes and mouths are drawn on with a fine point marker.

All flowers have real stick stems & different green homespun 'leaves'. All petals are burgundy felt.

The grinning flowers are tucked inside a 'prim can' with green Spanish moss. The tin can has been painted to look rusty/prim. I've wrapped a stained cheesecloth strip around the can and attached a prim tag that reads MY PRIM GARDEN with a rusty safety pin and 2 small rusty bells.

This piece measures 14.5 " high.

SNOW GIRL NODDER / MAKEDO / TREE TOPPER- SOLD

 

Measures approximately 11 inches tall.  Head is LARGE - approx. 17" round.

I made this snow girl from muslin which I filled with polyester filling and stained with my coffee mixture.
Her eyes are black buttons attached to a square of burlap. Her eyelashes are made of black felt. Nose is orange felt, stuffed and wrapped with floss. Her mouth is hand stitched with black embroidery thread.
I've attached a 'collar' that is a vintage doily in cream, dark green and burgundy crochet thread. I've attached faux holly leaves/berries to her collar. She is attached to a rusty bed spring.
I made her beret from red felt and pom pom from multi colored yarn.
Her hat and nose are sprinkled with mica flakes.
