EXTREME PRIMITIVE VALENTINE PUPPY - SOLD

Puppy is made from muslin that has been painted & sanded & then rubbed down with cinnamon.

His nose is painted and he has a vintage button for an eye.
The envelope is made from tea dyed fabric and is hand stitched. The Valentine Heart is dark red wool with 3 small white buttons sewn on and blanket stitched with perle cotton thread. I've tucked some Sweet Annie inside as well.

He wears a collar of twisted wire with 2 rusty bells and a round prim tag that has XOX written on it.

I've sewn old wooden spools as 'feet' under his body.

25 INCH - PRIMITIVE 1776 AMERICANA PRAIRIE DOLL WITH SHEEP - SOLD

This adorable 25 inch long prim prairie doll is lovingly holding her favorite sheep.

She is made of stained muslin and stuffed with polyester filling.  She has no facial features in keeping with primitive style dolls.

Her clothes are Americana styled.  The dress is off white with stars in red, blue & yellow  Her apron is made of stained muslin with a pocket that has a flag & 1776 stitched on it and is filled with preserved Sweet Annie.

 Her adorable bonnet is also made of stained muslin and tied with jute string.

Her pet sheep measures 10 inches long.  She is made of stained muslin, stuffed with polyester filling.  Her nose is painted with black acrylic and her legs are tree stems.

WHIMSICAL KITTY - BLUE FLORAL & SWEET ANNIE - SOLD

 This whimsical kitty is one of my own designs. 

It measures 11" high ( does not include 'hair')

Kitty is filled with polyester filling.  Her eyes are buttons, nose is felt and whiskers and hair are perle cotton thread and embroidery floss.

I've sewn 4 rusty bells to the collar and 3 to the pocket.  Pocket is filled with a bunch of Sweet Annie.

Kitty does not stand alone, needs propped up against something.

PRIMITIVE REDTICKING HEART MAKEDO - SOLD

Make-do measures 9 1/2" high.

The make-do is a glass candlestick holder that I've grubbied up to look more prim.  The heart is made from homespun that resembles red ticking, and stuffed with polyester filling.  There are 3 rusty bells attached to the left side of heart with rusty safety pins.  I tied stained cheesecloth around the heart and tucked in some preserved Sweet Annie and pip berry stems.

PRIMITIVE STYLE BLUE STRIPED POUCH FILLED WITH STARS, SWEET ANNIE, PIP BERRIES - SOLD

This pouch filled with stars, Sweet Annie & pip berries makes a great hanger on a  cupboard door or wall.  It can also sit on a shelf.

The pouch is a blue & cream colored fabric that resembles ticking.  I soaked it in a mixture of coffee and vanilla & rubbed my favorite spices into it.  It hangs by a matching strap and has a red & white checked homespun bow tied around the middle.

I lightly stuffed the pouch with polyester filling and topped that off with Spanish Moss.  Each star, one large and two small have sticks in the center to help them 'stand up' in the pouch.  The red star on the left has tiny white dots.

Preserved Sweet Annie and burgundy and mustard pip berries are pushed into the Spanish moss.

Nothing is glued.  If anything should fall out during shipping, it can be easily reinserted.  I will do my best to keep it intact while boxing it up for shipping.

RAGGEDY ANNIE DOLL HEAD MAKEDO WITH HEART & KEY - SOLD

This Raggedy make-do was adapted by a pattern by The Olde Country Cupboard.

It measures 15 1/2" high.  The head measures approx. 8" x 8".

Raggedy was made with muslin which was tea dyed and stuffed with polyester fill.  

Eyes are made from 100% wool fabric.  Eyelids are tea dyed muslin.

Nose is burgundy & tan striped homespun. All facial features are hand stitched.

Raggedy is fastened with thick jute rope to a base made from a square piece of wood that has a spindle screwed into it.  The base & spindle were painted with netmeg brown acrylic and then sprayed with clear protective finish.

Raggedy's hair is thick burgundy colored yarn, which I've sewn onto her head and tied a bow made of burgundy & tan small checked homespun.

The heart is made from a cut blue & white quilt and tea stained.  It has a pocket made from tea dyed muslin with a rusty bell sewn in the center.

The pocket is stuffed with Sweet Annie, greenery & gold and red pip berry stems.

I've also attached with rusty safety pins a tag that reads 'Annie' and a skeleton key.

The heart is hot glued to the spindle.

PRIM HORSE MAKE-DO - SOLD

 

This horse is my own design. 

He measures 18 inches from top of mane to bottom of stand.

Horse is made from muslin, stuffed with polyfill and stained with a mixture of coffee, vanilla and cinnamon.

Eyes are stitched X's.  The bridle is made from Jute.  I've attached 2 large rusty bells on each side.

The mane is black yarn that is sewn onto the head.

The head is attached to the stand  with hot glue on the inside and wrapped with stained cheesecloth.  A bundle of Sweet Annie & some gold and red pip berries are held by the cheesecloth.

The stand is a wooden candle holder that I've painted black.

HIPPITY HOP BUNNY WITH CARROT - NO LONGER AVAILABLE

 Meet Hippity Hop.  He measures 22 inches long.  He is made from stained muslin and his body is stuffed with polyester filling.  Arms and legs are not stuffed and tied at the ends.  He is wearing a plaid homespun 'shorts jumper' with his name hand stitched across the front on muslin.

His carrot is made from painted and stained muslin, the top is Sweet Annie.
He has a loop made of floss for hanging.

Hippity Hop is made from my own pattern.
