WHIMSICAL FOLK ART CAT DOLL - SOLD

A cute as can be whimsical handmade cat for the cat lover. 

This is one of my own designs.

Cat is made out of black and white checked homespun, and stuffed with polyfil. She has a large tuft of black fuzzy hair/fur on top of her head. Her eyes are buttons, sewn on and her nose is a large satin burgundy colored vintage button. Whiskers are black perle cotton.

4 rusty bells are sewn on her front and an orange, black and yellow autumn colored plaid ribbon is tied around her neck.

Cat measures approximately 10 inches tall.

PRIMITIVE BROWN BARN CAT

 This wonderful primitive style barn cat was created from a design by Tennessee Ridge Primitives.

He measures 12.5" high and approx. 5.5" wide

Cat is made from stuffed muslin which has been painted and sanded & rubbed down with cinnamon to give him an old worn look.
His eyes are mismatched buttons and nose & mouth are hand stitched. Whiskers are made of rusty curled wire.

He wears a rusty wire collar with 3 rusty bells.

I've hand sewed a quilted pocket of floral fabric as his pocket and stuffed it with preserved Sweet Annie & green & pink pip berries.

PRIMITIVE CAT WITH SPRING YO YO FLOWERS - SOLD

 

 

 Cat is a design by Tennessee Ridge Primitives.

It measures 12 1/2 inches high.

Cat's body is made from coffee stained muslin which I've painted with black acrylic and sanded down for an 'olde' worn look, which was then rubbed with cinnamon. It is stuffed with polyester filling.

Eyes are sewn on buttons. Nose & mouth are hand stitched. Whiskers are coiled rusty wires.

I've wrapped a rusty wire collar around his neck with two rusty bells attached.

The pocket is filled with 5 yo yo flowers and Sweet Annie.

A larger yo you flower adorns the front of the pocket.

The SPRING prim tag is attached with a rusty safety pin.

There is a wire loop on the back if you prefer to hang it as a door greeter.

BLACK FELT CAT ORNIES/ BOWL FILLERS - SET OF 4 - REDUCED PRICE

 Set of 4 black cat bowl fillers with cheshire grins.

These are made from black felt, stuffed with polyester filling.

The 'purple' is lighter than shown, glows from camera flash.

Eyes are buttons, nose is embroidery thread sewn in a satin stitch

The cheshire grin is a combination of paint and black embroidery thread.

EXTREME PRIMITIVE WHIMSICAL WITCH CAT - SOLD

 This extreme primitive witch cat was made using a pattern by Moonchilds Primitives.

It has been made using muslin which I've stuffed with polyfill and stained and grunged to give it a primitive look.

The eyes are painted with acrylics and eye lids are sewn on.

The nose and mouth are sculpted / hand stitched.

Ears are sewn on.

Whiskers are upholstery thread and sewn on.

The body has been sculpted, and a tail measuring 14" long has been sewn on.

Cat is wearing a black mesh witches hat.  I've attached a rusty bell to the peak of the hat with a rusty safety pin.  I've attached a band of stained cheesecloth to the hat and some Bittersweet to the brim.

The color is made of orange and black homespun, is sewn to the cat and I've attached 8 rusty bells to the collar with rusty safety pins.

Cat measures 21" high ( from bottom of cat to tip of hat) and 12" wide.

Prim Kitty is an original KKL Primitives design.

Measures 11 inches tall.

Made from muslin, stuffed with polyfil and washed with black paint and strong tea to give it an old worn look.

Kitty's eyes are wooden beads, sewn on, with a rusty bell nose.  Kitty's whimsical hair is 3 different colors of embroidery floss.

2 rusty bells are sewn onto the homespun collar.

Pocket holds a small bunch of Sweet Annie.

Prim Kitty does not sit alone, needs to be propped.

 This whimsical kitty is one of my own designs. 

It measures 11" high ( does not include 'hair')

Kitty is filled with polyester filling.  Her eyes are buttons, nose is felt and whiskers and hair are perle cotton thread and embroidery floss.

I've sewn 4 rusty bells to the collar and 3 to the pocket.  Pocket is filled with a bunch of Sweet Annie.

Kitty does not stand alone, needs propped up against something.

PRIMITIVE RAGGEDY ANNIE DOLL WITH PIGTAILS & KITTY - SOLD

This adorable Annie was made from muslin, stuffed with polyester filling and tea stained.  Her facial features are hand stitched and her eyes are little black buttons.

Her hair is in pigtails and tied with ribbons that match her skirt.  Her bodice is pretty Fall leaves in colors of gold, burnt orange and brown.  Her skirt is mustard/gold checked homespun.  She wears bloomers made from osnaburg fabric.

Annie never goes anywhere without her little Kitty.

Annie measures 22" long and Kitty measures 7 1/2" x 6 1/2"

PRIMITIVE RAG DOLL COCOA & HER CAT

Cocoa and Her Cat is made from a pattern by Threadbare Primitives.

She measures 18" tall and her cat measures 7 1/2" wide by 5" tall.

Both have been paint washed in brown & coffee and sanded to give them an olde thyme look.  They've also been rubbed down with cinnamon to complete the look and they smell wonderful!

Cocoa's dress and pantaloons have also been soaked in coffee and oven dried for a worn used look.  Her dress is a dark mustard and black square homespun and pantaloons are mustard and light tan striped homespun.

Her 'buttons' are rusty bells that are attached with rusty safety pins.

Her nose is a square patch of wool which I've sewn on.

Cocoa is signed and dated.

This cute kitty measures 7 inches high and stands alone.  His tail is what allows him to stand all by himself!  He is one of my own patterns.

He's made from stuffed muslin and has been treated with coffee & vanilla & cinnamon to give him an old worn look.

His eyes are buttons ( sewn on) and his nose is a patch of homespun. 

He has a collar of rusty wire with 2 rusty bells attached, along with a heart shaped old skeleton key.

If you're a kitty lover, this lil guy is looking for a new home.

He is a bit darker than the photo shows.
