PRIMITIVE FOLK ART FEATHER TREE STITCHED SNOWMAN SHELF SITTER - SOLD

This snowman is a design by Threadbare Primitives.

It measures 9 inches tall.

He is made from muslin, that I've tea stained heavily and stuffed with polyester filling.

His eye brows and mouth are hand stitched, he has tiny black buttons for eyes which are stitched on.  I gave him a stick nose, also stitched on.

  His stocking hat is made from burgundy and tan homespun and burgundy felt.  I've sewn a rusty bell to the end of the hat.

The feather tree is hand stitched with brown, dark green and dark red embroidery floss.  The berries are French knots. You'll notice there are also some white stitched snowflakes.  A yellow/gold wool star sits atop the tree and 'snow flurries' adorn the star and ground beneath the tree.

LITTLE PUMPKIN PRIM FOLK DOLL - SOLD

Isn't she a cutie?  I made her from a pattern by Threadbare Primitives.

She measures 12 1/2" tall.

She is made from muslin, stuffed with polyester filling then painted and sanded and treated with a coffee & vanilla stain to give her a used worn look.

Her stem is made from green homespun fabric, stuffed and hand sewn onto her head.  I tied some raffia around the stem for her 'ribbon'.

Her bodice is a tan checked homespun and I just love her Fall themed skirt with leaves and acorns.  She's wearing bloomers the same color as her bodice, with larger checks.

She is signed and dated.

PRIMITIVE RAG DOLL COCOA & HER CAT

Cocoa and Her Cat is made from a pattern by Threadbare Primitives.

She measures 18" tall and her cat measures 7 1/2" wide by 5" tall.

Both have been paint washed in brown & coffee and sanded to give them an olde thyme look.  They've also been rubbed down with cinnamon to complete the look and they smell wonderful!

Cocoa's dress and pantaloons have also been soaked in coffee and oven dried for a worn used look.  Her dress is a dark mustard and black square homespun and pantaloons are mustard and light tan striped homespun.

Her 'buttons' are rusty bells that are attached with rusty safety pins.

Her nose is a square patch of wool which I've sewn on.

Cocoa is signed and dated.
