They are made from calico fabric and warm 'n natural, with homespun fabric strips for carrot tops.

They each have a tag attached that reads 'carrots' 

Looks cute tucked into a pot with Spanish moss.

EMILY BUNNY & HER FABRIC SCRAP EGG - SOLD

 

Emily is an adorable 5 year old bunny made from tea stained muslin and stuffed with polyester filling.  She has very long ears and her facial features are hand stitched.

She is wearing a cranberry & pink polka dotted dress.  Emily is holding a fabric scrap egg with colorful buttons.

I made Emily in 2008 and she is looking for a new home.  She is signed and dated.  She measures 12" tall and her egg measures 6" x 3 1/2".

PRIMITIVE RAGGEDY ANNIE DOLL WITH PIGTAILS & KITTY - SOLD

This adorable Annie was made from muslin, stuffed with polyester filling and tea stained.  Her facial features are hand stitched and her eyes are little black buttons.

Her hair is in pigtails and tied with ribbons that match her skirt.  Her bodice is pretty Fall leaves in colors of gold, burnt orange and brown.  Her skirt is mustard/gold checked homespun.  She wears bloomers made from osnaburg fabric.

Annie never goes anywhere without her little Kitty.

Annie measures 22" long and Kitty measures 7 1/2" x 6 1/2"

15" REBECCA RAG DOLL WITH HEART SHAPED 'BALLOON' - SOLD

Rebecca is made from a pattern by Fiddlestix Designs.  She measures 15" tall.

She is made of tea stained muslin and stuffed with polyester filling.

Her eyes are tiny black buttons and her facial features have been hand stitched.

Rebecca has beautiful curly black yarn hair and her dress is made of 2 different heart fabrics.  The top of her dress and pantaloons is tan with red hearts and the skirt is brown & black with red hearts and black stars.

Rebecca's shoes are painted on with black acrylic paint.  The straps are black floss and red buttons adorn the shoes.

She is holding onto a heart shaped 'balloon' that matches her skirt.  The balloon stick is hot glued to the inside of her arm and her hand is hot glued to her dress to keep the balloon and stick 'up'.

She sits nicely without having to be propped.

This doll is not meant as a small child's toy.  It is not flame retardant and the small eyes pose a choking hazard.

PRIMITIVE STITCHERY PILLOW - ABC's PEAR TREE SHEEP & CROW - SOLD

 The pear tree & sheep with crow are my own design.

Pillow measures 19 1/2" by 13 1/2"

The ABC's are stitched in black and gold embroidery thread on stained muslin.

The tree is brown, green and gold.

Sheep and crow are black.

I used a black and cream checked homespun for the side borders and backing.
Pillow is stuffed with polyfill.

HANGING AROUND SNOWMAN ORNIE - SOLD

 This cute lil guy's face is made of Warm 'n Natural and is stuffed with polyester filling.

His eyes are sewn on beads and his mouth is hand sewn X's.

Nose is made of sculpey clay which has been hardened in the oven.

His hat is homespun and inside is a long wire that  you can bend around a tree branch, shelf peg, hang on a door knob, etc.  He has a tassle on the end of his hat!
You can adjust his hat any way you like.

I've sewn a snowflake button on the front of the hat.

PRIMITIVE FOLKART SCARECROW MAKE-DO - SOLD

Scarecrow make-do  measures approximately 20 inches tall.

He/she is attached to a black  spindle base.

Scarecrow head is made from stained muslin.  Eyes are sewn on mismatched buttons, nose is hand stitched homespun and I stitched jute on for his/her mouth.  Hard to tell in the photos but he/she also has rosy cheeks!

Hair is raffia, which I secured with thread.  I tied an orange and black homespun bow around the neck.  This is also what keeps head attached to spindle.

The hat is made from gold & black fabric and is adorned with faux leaves and berries.

PRIMITIVE AMERICANA STAR & CROW PLANT POKE - SOLD

Star measures 8" wide by 7" long.

Crow measures 7" long.

Star is made from striped homespun & blue cotton fabric with white stars. I've stained it with a mixture of coffee & vanilla.  The crow is made from muslin and hand painted.  I applied black shoe wax to him, and his eyes are black beads.

I've hand stitched LIBERTY on the star.

The 'stake' is wrapped with rusty wire & 2 rusty bells.

Use in indoor plants or on roof covered porch.  Not meant for outdoor use.
